Halloween races are Friday night and Sunday. Wouldn't want you to show up for nothing.

Where is it breaking at? I've ran mine about two race weekends worth of track time and haven't had any issues. Cased it pretty bad on a few occasions too.

Right at the front kick up. I have a e-mail to 8 Racing to see if they have been having issues. As far as I know you have the only +8 left, I have the only short left

Ha!

Well, I'm definitely not the fastest buggy at my track, but I also haven't had this car on my track's new layout, which was built for the last Shortcourse Showdown, which has some massive jumps. Good test for some lawn darts I guess.

I need my carbon chassis though; only way to get the weight down to where I want it.

If this was the case...what's with the real sucky ballcups? Simplistically speaking, I would assume that this would have been an easy thing to replace... Or at least release an "option" part for us to purchase so we don't have to go hunting around for what could potentially fit using the "trial and error" method. I mean, just look at how many posts are out there looking for replacement parts.. do you really want Associated parts on your car? Just a thought and my .02 opinion...

p.s. - while you're at it, release a new gear box cover since some of us like to run 17.5 motors and the pinion scrapes against it.

use a heat source dont touch flames or get it to hot it will bubble up , i tested with a heat gun on a duratrax evader not sure what temp, heat the inside of the gear cover just enough to stretch the plastic around the pinion then push it out so the gear will have clearance simple everyone can get ahold of a lighter or something and stop complaining now lol

Just like to add to what Randy said, a picture showing exactly what Jorn does with his steering plate.
