Leave the slipper nut attached, saaves a bunch of time not having to muck around with aligning the slipper assembly.

Well first run with the buggy tonight
Conclusion these ball cups are the worst thing ever made
Popped a ball cup of the front steering 4 times in the first heat. After that I just put the car up for the rest of the night I was so frustrated. Never popped a ball cup of my Team c buggy all last race season.
Other than the ridiculously priced lunsford link kit what are my options

TC5 10mm long ball studs (metric)
TC5 10mm short ball studs
Jconcepts ball cups.

TLR 22 ball studs and TLR ball cups...

I am currently switching over to the Jconcepts ball cups for bling. And also going to run some TiNi coated ball studs..

No, The beauty of the TC5 studs are: Metric threads (Team Durango/ Losi 22) and standard studs (B4.1, T4..). So the Jconcept ball cups would normally be used for the B4, T4, GT2,...

So any ball cups that fit the b4 and the tc5 ball studs.

Are the tlr 22 ball studs and cups a direct replacement as well.
Just trying to weigh out my options of what would stay in stock at track store.
Thanks a lot!!

Yeah, both are replacements. Just need to get the correlating studs and cups. Also, once you replace them, you should really have a spare gear box case on hand. The strounger cups put the stress elsewhere, and the gearbox is the next wekest link.. Have fun, this buggy is great once you work out the gremlins.

The tlr22 parts are expensive!!
I think I am going to try the boiling of Durango HD cups first and then maybe order the tc5 ball studs and b4 cups.

Since the Durango ball cups are long shank j was thinking of getting these ball up ends to go with the tc5 ball studs.

Will these cups work?
