Thanks Randy.. I picked mine up last night and will be starting my build tonight... I THINK im going to kick it off with Rear motor 4 gear... Swapping the gearbox around back and forth is no big deal to try them out, I just hate redoing electronics!

this is what I think we SHOULD see between the two:

3 gear = on throttle, less pressure on rear tires, more pressure on fronts (more on-power steering)
4 gear = on throttle, more pressure on rear tires, less on fronts. (more on-power forward traction, less on-power steering)

Sounds logical.

I'll weigh my car before and after.

I have two entire cars, one to build one for spares. It should be easy for me to have a full wired up motor/trans setup ready to go.

This car is amazing! It looks like a factory ride. Fantastically clean install. I will definitely keep this shot in mind when I do mine. Job well done Chris!

Cheers, I cant stand messy wiring!

410 needs its esc/servo/transponder wires shortening:

That's fine with me, most cars have lead strapped all over them to get them to handle better

True! We could mill shallow slots into the aluminum chassis like the old days of the RC10 gold tub.
