I use the TrakPower shorty. It's the real deal for sure and it's fairly inexpensive to. (:

around 4000mah with 30C should do the trick, and take your favourite brand.

I have been running Fusion shorty now for 6 months, and Im happy.
I have the 4000mah 40C shorty pack and they still have plenty punch.
The gold plugs the use for your powerwires are a little on the thight side dough.

I like shorty packs, aldough sometimes with a minimum of tractoin on our track
I have to use some extra weight ( 40 grams ) under the servo.

+1. Best we've used, and I've bought everything from $30 packs to $150 packs.

So with a full size battery I shouldn't need to add much weight? It's this correct? Would a Shorty help me get a little more steering? Thanks

The DEX210 is a bit on the heavy side, you don't have to add weight even with a shorty pack Shorty packs are prefered since you can move them around more to change the weight distribution.

This is just our experience, but having run both the shorty and the full size, we never run the full size anymore. The weight we added to the car is all up front, and the shorty pack is usually run towards the front of the car as well. For the way Cush likes his car to drive, the full size pack simply put too much weight on the rear and it didn't steer for him, even all the way against the servo. With the esc centered in the rear of the chassis we don't have as much room to move the battery rearward, but with a shorty all the way forward the F/R weight bias is 36.5/63.5%. All the way back it's 35/65%. Works great for him, and the car rarely lacks for rear grip.

They look ok, but a vertical ballstud in a alloy hub is never a good combo. Just look at all the frustrated Kyosho owners. The Tresrey hubs coming will be just like the AE alloy hubs, but look like they will have a adjustable bracket mount for different wheel bases, and motor configurations. Best of all, they'll be red...

So who's got any real data on the carbon chassis's for this car.

I've looked at:
-Shaved stock chassis
-CF Chassis
- +8 CF Chassis

For those who have the CF chassis's, what benefits have you seen and how have it made the car better.

Durango is releasing their 8+ aluminium chassis very soon. All the factory drivers are running them.
