I have never ran a servo saver in 1/10th buggy and have also never stripped a servo in a buggy either.

Now if I was using plastic geared servo's I probably would but I have always used metal geared servo's. So dont see the need for a servo saver atleast this far. But I'll probably strip the gears in mine today after saying this.

I havent' broken any fronts. but I broke 2 stock rears in one day. One was expected because I flipped after casing a large triple and landed on my towers and snapped the rear. The second one snapped after landing the triple and back siding it rather smoothly then my car turned funny and my shock tower had snapped from the landing. Its about a 12ft triple so is fairly large. But i have since replaced with Cream front/rear towers and have had 0 issues since.

I read about a person that had stripped 5 or 6 Savox 1251 servo`s.. Don`t remember if it was here or on the Oople forum.

Are you referring to the 22 servo horn?

Wanted to make a shameless plug, but also give a shout out to Team SR (http://www.teamsr.co/) and Mike Dumas.

Purchased their front CF Tower and Rear Suspension mounts for my 210. You can purchase their products from Absolute Hobbies or GsHobby.

Had an issue with the Suspension mount I purchased, and got hold of Mike Dumas from Team SR who quickly shipped me out a replacement.

Great customer service and product experience Thanks Mike!!!!

Their stuff is a little cheaper then creams especially the front tower. I am going to be buying the rear inner suspension bracket from them. 3/0 one and will just shim it if I want Kickup.

You can't just shim up the mounting plate as that would also push up the tranny, shock tower and everything else. That's the reason the kit comes with multiple plastic mounts. I run the TeamSR 3/3's on 2 cars like the kit standard. Works for me.

We did a couple between the two cars before the switch to aluminum was made. As long as you have a quality metal gear servo all should be good. The bellcrank should break before the servo.
