The 210 is nothing like the 22, so you need to figure out how the car drives to you out of the box, then start making adjustments so the car will drive how you want it to. Also, the fast 210 drivers have their cars setup for how they drive and how they feel the car needs to be. No RC racer drives exactly like another, and their driving characteristics are going to be built into how they setup the car.

One thing I've found out about this car, is you either have the right setup and it's butter, or you have one thing off and it you will never be able to push it to 100% of it's full capabilities, which this car packs a ton of.

Remember, tires are 90% of the setup. Get those, pick your oils, and go have fun with the car.

If you still want to use someone's setup, I'd suggest taking a look at what changes they made from the box setup, learn what those changes are designed to do, and figure out what you need for your track, and how those changes will help you better your car.

Excellent advice. I had never thought about it that way. Thanks.

I'm having a hard time finding the springs I need. Are there any other manufacturers springs that will work?

Last I checked Tower Hobbies had springs in stock. Otherwise Losi 22 springs fit as do the Kyosho big bore springs.

I ordered some Durango parts from Tower on Monday and they had no big bore springs I could find. I even tried by part number and got nothing. Maybe they got them in in the last coupla days. That would be my luck.

Not sure the equivalent Durango oil, but 2000 Associated is pretty common where I run for most buggy gear diffs.

I bought the lunsford titanium shock mount systems. Turns out i need to to have this to install it TDR330036. Does any other pivot ball work? I tried out 1/8 scale shock ones but the lunsford is too thick (think ~ 4mm). The durango part is OOS everywhere except ebay and overseas...

I used the plastic ones that came with my axial scx-10.
and drilled them a little bit to the right size.

You could cut the pivot ball section of off the stock mounts.

Try Traxxas pivot balls.......I have Durango shocks on my ANZA shortcourse truck and they were a direct fit on to the ANZA shock mounts which are designed for Traxxas shocks.

I have a feeling Durango sales will pick up nicely for you The Hobbico purchase appears to be fixing many issues they were facing and things are looking up already, and should continue to improve in the near future.

Were you the guy running the AE track at the LOORS race a few years ago? I think we met out there- I had the X Factory SC truck with the E3 body on it.
