Ryan Lutz and Jorn Neumann setups from the Reedy Race are up on the Team Durango website.

Interesting to see the differences between Ryan and Jorn's setups.

Also interesting to see that they didn't admit to running an extended chassis.

for the Cups upgrade.

LOSA6015 LOSA6015 Super Duty Ball Cups, Natural

ASC31282 ASC31282 Ballstud, short, 10MM

ASC31285 ASC31285 Ballstud, long, 10MM

wont the cups of the losi hit the gear cover?

Ryan ran stock, Jorn ran long. I noticed that too. Probably don't want to give everything away.

What's weird is, even after running the long chassis, Jorn is still running 1mm shim in front of the rear hubs. So, that long chassis (what looked like ~8mm) was missing 3mm from the longest wheel base he could have had.

Really want white?

I'm running the Lunsford kit and my ball cups don't hit. I am however running 2/2 on the rear hub, so I would suspect if you're running full wheelbase they might hit. You can swap rear hubs so the ball stud faces forward and that will give you a little more room. Don't forget to change your pills if you have something other than 0°.

English is better than most

By pills I mean the rear hub inserts to change your toe. If you swap rear hubs and are running more toe than the stock 3° you need to flip the inserts to keep your previous settings.

the Lunsford Kit specs are also similar to other manufacturers specs.

(2) M4.8x8mm Ball Studs (Steering Rack)
(2) M4.8x8mm Ball Studs (Steering Spindle)
(2) M4.8x8mm Ball Studs (Rear Brace)
(2) M4.8x8mm Ball Studs (Rear Hub)
(2) M4.8x10mm Ball Studs (Caster Block)
(2) M4.8x10mm Ball Studs (Front Shock Tower)

Like Losi 22 studs, i might as well get the losi one and the price is a fraction of the cost......

Jorn ran long and also had about a 60gram bulkhead on his car!! So do not use his setup unless you plan on running those two items. Ryans setup is more realistic to us "kit" owners.

Does anyone have the link to the ball studs to be used with the J Concepts ball cups?

Just use Associated TC5 or TC6 ballstuds. They're titanium nitride coated for long wear. I use the Losi standard HD ballcups, including the inside rear. You don't need to use the offset ballcup. BTW the Jcon ballcups are very soft material, which is way I changed to the Losi ones.

What changes would there generally be in going from the 6-hole pistons to just 4 holes (on both front and rear shocks)?
