I run 26/75 with an rs pro, 13.5 Tekin and a little boost. The ESC and motor doesn't even get above 130 and it is surprisingly quick for a 13.5!!!!

I'm looking to get my first buggy! How would you guys comopare the dex210 to the tlr22 or Ae b4.1. Thoses were the ones i was considering. I'll be running it in the 13.5 class on indoor clay. Thanks

No offense, but this post is short sighted. The balance of the dex is nothing like the B4... the rear end of the dex is considerably heavier.

Having driven those three, (B4) not a .1, I like the 210 the best, but atm the moment it doesn't turn as well as a B4. I didnt get along with the 22, it had no rear traction on our med bite tracks. The 210 has more rear tractionthan any car I have driven, even after dialing some of it out..

B4.1 -
Twitchiest car
Feels fastest
Easiest to work on
Cheapest parts
Hardest to drive

22-
More stable than the B4
Easiest to drive
Not as nimble as others
Worst diff
Not too hard to work on

dex210-
As stable as the 22, but feels fast almost like the B4
Hardest to work on
Parts support is sketchy
Best diff on the planet (once you learn it)
Best shocks

i've been hearing that more and more about the 22. No rear grip. I don't like that. do you think you can get the dex210 to turn like the b4? Or is that a product of having so much rear grip?

The largest you can fit with the factory 87 tooth spur, is a 25. You will still be way undergeared.

Good summary. Sounds like its the better all around car out of the 3. parts support could make it scary though.

Right now there is no "best" setup... just like their isn't a "Best" setup for any other car... it depends on your track, tire, surface, traction level, and drive style.

I think the 210 is the best car out of the three, with the B4 just barely behind it. But take into consideration that the B4 is almost a decade old! If the B4 didn't develop slop so easily, and had a decent set of big bores, it would be just as good as the 210. I personally don't like the 22 for a number of reasons, but I would rock the B4 just as easily as the 210.

For some people, as long as the car is good enough, part and setup support is the most important thing when picking a buggy, which would put most of those drivers behind the B4. I myself love being the guy figuring out the setup, and don't mind buying and stocking parts ahead of time, and don't mind a buggy that is harder to setup and work on... so for me, the 210 is better. For somebody brand new to the hobby, I would recommend the B4 before the 210 any day.

The question might be better asked on the R10 thread, as many here wont be familiar with what type or amount of dynamic timing that esc gives.
