I have to say that I quite like the Durango 210 shell and the Pulse one looks ok but I am not sure I would not be able to get my ESC under there with the fan on as they have got rid of the space above the side pods where it sits.

I installed a lrp ver.2 with the fan on the left side of the chassis and the body fits fine!

Took the car out for its first club race this weekend, an boy was it awesome. Car was super smooth and very easy to drive. I ran the shorty pack an I could really fell the difference between it an the standard pack. I was very happy with the way the car performed on it first outing an I can't wait to get back to the track . I have attached a few pictures and my set-up.

Do you really need a fan? I've been running mine (ORCA Vritra Pro) with timing and turbo added, running for over 10mins at a time with no overheating issues

I just like it running as cool as I can get . I know that my esc and motor (SP V3 7.5) do not really get warm at all. I have my Hobbywing XERUN 120A in there with the fan on and the original shell fits just touching the top of the screws. It just looked like in the pulse shell there is quite a dip after where the esc would normally go. What I do hope is that they allow more room for some velcro around the shell as the standard Durango 210 one has a crack forming near the rear right side and I saw another doing exactly the same on Sunday.

When running with the shorty lipo is it best to run it in the center or alittle forward?

It just depends on your track and car set up....I run mine like in the pic above on a looser track, but ran it in the forward position on a higher bite track that had more rear grip. Thats the beauty of running the shorty, test it out and see what works....its the easiest set up change you can make that can make a dramatic difference in handling.

Check out my picture above, I ran the rear battery stop with the pack against it and a cut down SC10 foam in the front.
