With Hobbico being bought by Horizon Hobby, I wonder if there's a chance for a brand resurrection? Team Durango is such a strong brand that they should really consider it.

The entire Arrma line looks like it's being discontinued. They share lots of parts. I doubt Durango will come back.

Do you have a source for this? That would be horrible; I'm hoping that Horizon will keep a good thing going, specifically with Arrma and Axial products.

There's a vehicle list in the filing. Someone linked it in another thread.

Now that I've got a 210 again (a couple plus spares for a while), I forgot just how nicely designed that car was. It was really ahead of it's time. There are a few small things that could have been tweaked that could have kept it up to date with current trends but overall it's such a solid design. 1/10 is dead here so if I want to track it, it's either as an oval car or just running at the track for the fun of it, neither of which I'm against. When I had my first one, I was fond of comparing it to the 22 2.0, since that's what was out at the time. I have a 22 2.0 now and there are things from each car I'd like to see designed into one.

Does anyone have a source for these? The only part left at Bellgate is the waterfall.

Awesome. Thanks. That was lucky. The only part they didn't have was the waterfall, which is the only thing that Bellgate did have. I got them ordered. There's a new track within driving distance to me. Not close, but certainly worth a Saturday and the 3pm race time helps immensely. Time to build a carpet car.

I've done it now. I ordered the laydown parts. I bought the Exotek chassis and I have the B6 rear hubs that allow for a higher axle height for a lower ride height without screwing up the roll center geometry. It's full on carpet racer time. Lets see what the 210 could have been had Durango survived. I wish I had the Exotek rear bulkhead.

Since I have more than enough spare parts, I decided to build a second car. The 210 and the other 2wd buggies of the same era represent the last generation of rear motor buggy so it seemed only fitting to build one as a rear motor. I also have a rear motor 22 2.0 for the same reason. I still need a couple of screws and a rear wing for this one. It uses a V2/3 aluminum chassis but V1 suspension. It's setup as an RM3 and retains the slipper. I'll run this for the fun of it on our large covered 1/8 scale track. There's no real advantage between mid and rear motor there but there's no more 1/10 racing there anyways. The laydown car will be built for 17.5 indoor carpet racing.

I need a few parts to complete my laydown car. I need the upper shock mount posts and the washers and inserts for the steering bellcranks. Does anyone have any spares?

I know I have the inserts but I'll have to look to see if I bought some extra washers too when I get home later today

I thinking about something that may seem like heresy. Associated big bores have become my standard shock, much like Lunsford turnbuckles and TLR ball cups and studs have become my standard as well. I have lots of vintage cars and they are all getting updated with ASC big bores. They are plentiful. I'm thinking about using them on the laydown 210 as well. I won't mess with the shocks on the rear motor car but I still have an extra set of shocks. I might actually use them on one of my vintage cars that hasn't been converted yet just because I have them.

...one more + for the AE big bore shocks would be, that the front AE shocks are a bit shorter, than the TD one, so may no need for a taller shock tower at the front.
