I found that the insert for the toe in fit super tight into the alum. rear hubs. Not just a little sanding for a minute or two to fine tune as they fit so tight they bound up. The Ones from Exotek where a little better but still a little tight but nothing like my Alum Durango ones where as once I got them in it was impossible to get them out without messing them up. Maybe others have had better luck but between me and another guy it was the same problem. At least the Exoteks fit easier but still tighter than they need to be.

I have a set of Exotek aluminum hubs on one of my trucks and I had the same problem with the inserts binding. I'd never buy another set of them.

Sucks because it is a nice simple tuning option to try depending on the track your at. Wish mine would fit in a lot easier would be nice.

Looks like I may just go into winter indoor build mode here unless something changes.

May also order that Jconcepts body I mentioned if I stick with the plan B.

Added another Durango to the fleet. I bought a second DEX210v2 yesterday for my kids to race this winter.

MikeR: are you guys still testing other bodies on your chassis to see if other ones fit better?

No, the guys already settled on the listed 22 3.0 JC body. Can't redesign the front of the car either

okay. If you guys do test fit anything, it may be worth while to give what was mentioned here a look as a better fit.

Ugh.. looks like gear diffs are going to be the next thing to be back ordered. Tower is "Temporarily Unavailable" and the other place I ordered from cancelled because they couldn't get them. Hopefully Amain will come through.

I emailed Great Planes today about Durango but as of now have not heard anything. Earliest I expect to hear from them would be tomorrow but I won't hold my breath.

Yea they are Revolution Designs but they do not make them anymore......got lucky and found a set on Ebay

Buddy of mine built one with them on, v1 i think, and he dominated with the car. He sold it to another buddy and the car is fast. The geometry is a little different than the kit towers and really helps the car imo

We run on a real out door track with loose dirt and the rear motors just do better unless the track get a ton of water then the MM cars can keep up lol

I built this car 4gear MM and found out after that my motor/esc would not go inreverse sooo RM it was lol
