Parts support should be ok as long as your local shop orders from Great Planes you can get anything is a week. I work at a hobbyshop part time but we don't carry parts for my Dingo but parts are easy to get if I need them.

The outdrives are slightly longer on the v2/3, that's the only difference though

I usually order directly from Tower and even they have a hard time keeping parts in stock. Its been 6+ months since anyone has had bodies for the v2/v3 and now you can't even get something as simple as a gear cover. Want an aluminum RF hanger? You have a better chance of winning the lottery.

Even if you wanted to buy a DEX210v3, you can't buy one since they've been out of stock all summer. They were supposed to be back in stock (I think) this month but instead they're "temporarily unavailable" at Tower. Is it discontinued? Is a v4 on the way? Who the heck knows at this point.

Don't get me wrong, I really want to continue to support Durango but its getting kinda hard at this point. The whole support local racers thing has been a total joke IMO. The only thing they seem to be supporting is local bashers with their ARRMA line.

yeah I agree on the whole local racer thing. I rather they had stuck with a pro team personally.

I am lucky in that I got a ton of parts here. I mean massive amounts of stuff here and anything I needed was at least in stock so I got quite a few of it.

But I am assuming ARRMA is where the money is.

Bashing is a trend right now IMO..Its the reason why they concentrate more on the ARRMA than there rracing counter part. Racetrack are closing left and right here also some of the Hobby store. If I want to race I have to drive 1-2 hours away compare to a15 min. Drive when track was still open. Now am stuck with cars that it's hard to dispose bec it lacking support from the manufacturer..

Wow wasn't expecting a package til Monday or Tuesday but my Exotek chassis conversion showed up already. Ordered it Thursday and it showed up on Sat. Every time I order from Exotek I get my stuff so fast and they almost always fill my order and send it out same day. Hats off to those guys.

I have it a complete roller and just need to add electronics and its done. I will take pics and have them posted Monday morning. Its goes together super quick. The only thing that slowed me down was that you need to cut the old transmission case is your using the Exotek rear bulkhead but if your not then I could of had the car a roller in about an hour. Very nice quality kit and everything fit like it was suppose to. Battery has plenty of room to move forward and bad so it is very adjustable. The top battery hold down is sloted so you you can make battery stops and adjust them as needed to suit your car.

so it doesn't come with battery stops? that seems odd if they did all that to slot it.

How did flex feel compared to the stock chassis?

It would of been nice to have but not a deal breaker because it is very easy to make and since the battery hold down is already milled out it will be simple to do. I will check out the flew Sunday when I go work on the car some more.

On pictures on the exotek web site, it looks like, screws and lock nuts are in the battery strap, to adjust battery!?
