Hi all I will be building my dex210v2 kit away from home in a remote location, and just putting a list of things together that I will need, so far I have
hand tools etc with the exception of circlip pliers I need to find a small pair.
Blue and Red Loctite
Black Grease
30 & 35 cst shock oil (just trying to work out the losi equivalent have stock of losi oils)
CA Glue

Do I need
silicone grease?
Ball diff grease? what can I use for this

Anything else you can think of

Thanks

You will need a 1.3mm hex driver. If you download the manual it gives a list of what you need to complete it.

Does anyone know what wheels will and will not fit on the rear if it's converted to a 12mm hex?

All my setups use losi. 35 front and 30 rear at room temp.. 37 32 in summer.
I think it comes with silicone grease. And don't use too much on the durango diffs or it will slip.

Hmm might have to rethink the oil weight
Summer here is between 86-110 F winter is around 50-77 F

I might try 37 32 straight up I will see what I have at home thanks for all the tips guys they have been very helpful

Still trying to decide if I paint it white, gloss black or even matt black hmm wish I had beer handy to help me decide, but no real rush cannot start the build for around 2 weeks anyway

Default 17.5 weights

My v2 is weighing in at 1653gms. Is this a good weight? Equipment is savox1258,sr300,killshot,turbo120esc,smc 4400 shorty, RM4 gearbox(low traction), lightened chassis, ultralight body. Any suggestions to get it lighter? I've heard B5's are down to 1550gms in box stock configuration.

Default Project car

I just won a V2 last night and did not know what to do since I have other interests in buggy. But I am wanting a mid motor buggy for mod on high traction Clay. From your posts I would build with Diggity Designs V1 rear shock tower, Exoteck V1 front shock tower. I would then use a set of AE big bore shocks that I have. How does that sound to all of you 210 owners? If not I am thinking of selling because it does not fit my stable. Thanks

I'm sure someone with the right tools could figure something better out but here's an ideal for those that want to mount a fan.

Hey guys, if I'm looking for more on power traction. What's the best way to go about that. The question relates to all my 210 cars.

Check out my build guide, I have a list of required items and a few tips for the build. http://durangofansite.com/main.php?v...ld&buildpage=1

I use this chart to get an idea of converting CST into WT http://www.team-durango.com/pdf/setu...on%20Chart.pdf
