Default High voltage servo peration??? HELP

I want to run a certain Hitec servo rated at 7.4 volts in an 1:8th scale. What can I do to get that extra power to the servo safely? Any contribution is appreciated.
Thanks

cut the red wire off your esc's servo lead. plug a 2s lipo Rx pack into your Rx.

If your Rx can handle 8.4v

You could run a BEC that allows higher voltage.
