Yep! 100% Tekin!

The motors are just that good... And the Customer Service is second to none!

Depends what class you are going to run...

If you want to run Mod... I like an 8.5, Super Stock Truck you have to run 13.5, and stock truck you have to run 17.5

Alot of things can change what you choose to run in mod class though... Wide open flowing track or tight and technical.

Hook us up with a little more information and we'll be able to give you a better idea of what might work the best.

Edit: I see you mentioned 10.5... That is an awesome motor for the Mod Class as well. The 8.5 can be a handfull at times and requires a very smooth finger in 2WD... That 10.5 will have plenty of power as well though, and a little more controllable.

You are really asking general questions hoping to get the answer you want.
You can get any motor to run cool if you gear it that way..And depending on the track you run, the temperature you run in etc.. I have heard that the Ballistic motors are temperamental, and they don't run well with the Tekin speedo, but I have not run a Ballistic myself-so I cant say for sure...I have seen many a Havoc thermal when you push the gearing too much..The Tekin combo will serve you well, I have many and have had no issues with any of them..Hope this answers you question.
