Thanks mate . Yea had three test runs , goes nuts way better than nitro haha . Dam pinion gear fell off on the last run and i cant get them in New Zealand so have to wait 2weeks for another 1 :cry:

Unlucky about the pinion, did you loose it? Why do you have to buy another one? Whereabouts are you ordering from?

Yea shot off couldnt find the dam thing ....
Im getting 2 this time jst incase . Off ebay ... Do you know a better place ??

Nice setup!
What kind of pinions do you use? Try team helotes for pinions. They sell the rc-monster hardened pinions, and their shipping prices are pretty good. I've had my pinion come of on my first run as well. Luckily it was just lying on the chassis.

And something else that works nice, is the team associated antenna mount like the one in my photo. (Sorry, the car was a bit dirty when I took this photo.) It fits in the hole where the brake shaft used to be.

Rob, good looking conversion you have there. Looks very home grown which is the way 1/8 scale started. Nice to see that some people can still think with out needing a kit to tell them what an 1/8 E should look like.

Hahaha, you're the first person to pick up on that.:nod: Only used it to join my 2S packs while I waited for some 4S packs. It was all I had that was thick enough.:blush:

i converted an ocm myself...front end is no c hub style and all i need is the breshless setup,receiver and lipo...i'll post some pics tonight or tomorrow

Thanks mate , Im using 15 and 17t Hot Racing pinions off ebay , Cheap and run smooth . what batterys are you using ??
