BL Motors - Tekin vs LRP vs ???
Hi Peeps,
Stupid question time....
Brushless motors being so efficient and limited in designs atm. Is there much difference between BL motor mfgs such as Tekin vs LRP?
If so, does anyone know what they are?
Or has the RC game changed and the emphasis is more on ESC trickery these days..
TIA

I hate being "that guy" but search and you will find at least 5 or 6 threads that go in depth.
Or look on the sites and down load the specs to compair them side by side.
They are all getting better, personally I feel the tekin has the most tuneability of the bunch, and novak is still trying to play catch up to the rest of the manafactures. - just my .o2

In general, many people are brand or track loyal. Whatever brand most like they stick with, or whatever is the most popular at their home track. Every motor has it's own little features that some folks prefer, but having the most killer motor doesn't win the race. Just my 2 cents!
Here's my "preferences":
The new V3.0 Speedpassions with the bullet connectors built into the endbell are really nice. Great feel, lots of room for gearing, strong runners. I also just got a new Express 10.5 Nemesis Trinity base motor and it is by far the most insane 10.5 motor that I have ever run. My other Express motors (Trinity Duo Base) have all been strong and reliable mills. Tried a Tekin 13.5, just didn't suit me.
