Been waiting all summer for this baby!!

It is an homage to Parnelli Jones' and Bill Strope's "Big Oly" Bronco they raced in the early seventies at Baja and the like. Truck was actually more a "funny car" than anything else, defining characteristic (which we were unable to replicate) was the big wing that made up the roof.

Shawn Kiely (Big Fin Graphics) did the paint. Before I put the HPI and Blitz stickers on the windshield header there wasn't a sticker on the car...it is ALL paint done with masks and graphics Shawn creates himself. The detail in his work is amazing. Have a look at the barley and hops in the Olympia logo

What the pic doesn't show up is that this is all done in chrome with black highlights and accents. I wish I had talent to do stuff like this.

Sure wish I'd gotten the gold Mk10 wheels to mount up. Unfortunately our LAST race of the season is tomorrow. At least I'll get to scuff 'er up a LITTLE bit

I should post a couple pics of my wife's Slash/Parma dune buggy he painted for her.

Most real trucks are sponsored, and monster and red bull are big players in these types of events so a lot of people want that sponsorship looking paintjob on their truck so they go with the idea..

but i hear you, when i go to the races, theres usualy no less then 5 or 6 of them on the track thats why i like doing unique bodies with themes too them..

Flames or some sort of blob spilled on the car is also a very common design you will notice... ;P
