Default Promblem With Electric Brushless Buggy

Hi guys, i'm new here and i'm also new to the whole buggy thing so i don't know too much. I recently bought the HSP "1/10 Electric Brushless Buggy w/ Brushless Motor Green Black" i only got it yesterday, i already charged the battery and this morning when i was testng it i notice something is wrong. For some reason it takes off for itself and it seems like i have no control over it. When i first switched it on and pull the trigger it takes off and then it stops after 2-3 seconds then it stops take commands from the controller, at some point it moves for it self.

When i hold the car in the air without the wheels touching it seems to spin fine but when iput it back on the ground the same problem happens.

I read the manual like 4 times already and i still can't understand why its doing this, i'm starting to think its probably a factory fault or something. Please let me know what you guys think, is there anything i need to configure that the manual doesn't cover?

Thanks.

I am not trying to be negative here but you kind of get what you pay for.

I googled the car to get an idea of what your working with

#1 transmitter batteries

#2 check the wires

#3 is there a programming function for the speed controller? Make sure everything has nice fresh batteries and program the speedo again.

#4 return, and check the for sale section here for a good used higher grade vehicle.

Goodluck

Make sure you always turn the radio on first. set the trims as required by the manual then reprogram the ESC.

thanks for the reply guys, i think i'm finally getting somewhere. I tried playing around with the 2 buttons on the right side of the controller and its working better the only problem i'm seeing now is that it still moves (but not as b4) by itself but only when its idle. Right now the 2 buttons on the right side of the controller are on the same position/spot, when i tried mixing them the car would endup taking off. What else you guys think i should try?

@ Badassrevo u said sumthing about reprogramming the Esc...how do i do that?

The manual i got with this doesn't go into any deep detail...more than half of it is spent on showing which parts can be upgraded.

I tried to google the ESC, but could only find it for sale.
I could not find and manuals for it.
You will need to go through soe trial and error type trouble shooting.

If there is some sort of set up button on the ESC I would turn the car on while holding the button down then cycle through the full throttle and push the button again, then full reverse and push the botton, then neutral and push the button.
When that is complete turn it off then on and give it a try.

There are any different sequences to try. Good luck.

also make sure you pull the antenna all the way out on your radio and use a full length antenna on your car. maybe this will help.

It could also be as simple as adjusting the throttle trim on your radio.

Sometimes the simple things get overlooked. I am glad it is working. Despite what anyone says about the car. The whole point is to have fun. So take it out and have a lot of fun with it.
