Default JUST BOUGHT A BLITZ, NEED A GOOD SETUP

HI,

I POSTED A THREAD ASKING PEOPLE WHICH IS BETTER, BLITZ, SC10, SLASH, STRIKE. WELL, I BOUGHT A BLITZ.

I'M RUNNING IT BOX STOCK WITH A LIPO. I'M RUNNING INDOOR ON CARPET WITH JUMPS.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME MAKE THIS THING TURN AND BE COMPETITIVE???? (OTHER THAN A NEW SERVO) I KNOW THAT ALREADY))

I NEED THINGS LIKE HUB SPACING, TIEROD SPACING, SHOCK OIL, RIDE HEIGHT, SHOCK LIMITER SPACERS, ANY MUCH MORE. YOU NAME IT I NEED IT. I'VE BEEN RACING R/C FOR SEVERAL YEARS, BUT THIS SHORT COURSE THING IS SOMETHING ELSE. THE SC10'S SEEM TO DOMINATE. (LETS NOT GET INTO THAT.)

SEND ME YOUR INPUT. I'D ALSO LIKE TO KNOW HOW YOURS RUNS ON AVERAGE, (INREFERNCE TO A-MAIN START AND FINISH, ETC)

THANKS YOU KINDLY IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO YOU HAVE A BLITZ? OR ANY SHORT COURSE TRUCK. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A BLITZ THEN YOU ARE NO USE TO ME. (I'M REFERING TO THE "WTF" GUY)

THIS GOES FOR ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE THAT SENDS A REPLY OF "WTF DID YOU DO THAT FOR?" ------------------- IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO HELP, AND YOU ASK DUMB/SMART A$$ QUESTIONS, THEN I HAVE NO RESPECT/TIME FOR YOU. PLUS OTHER THINGS I'D LIKE TO SAY,,,,,,, BUT THE TITLE OF MY POST IS NOT "DID I MAKE A GOOD DECISTION" ITS "I NEED A GOOD SETUP" SO PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND.

YOUR POSITIVE INPUT IS APPRECIATED AS MENTIONED BEFORE. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANKYOU IN ADVANCE (TO THOSE KIND PEOPLE WILLING TO HELP)

For set-up, Cyoder#9 is a good one; the only difference in mine is I run 100 weight sillicone, 1/3 full in diff and found the 3 degree rear keeps more stable.
Also, I have moved top of shock in both front and rear (toward center) to lessen roll.

You'll always get negative comments on whatever vehicle you own (part of racing ) but remember, all racing is 75% driver, 20% set-up, and 5% vehicle-IMHO.

I am currently racing a SC10, Slash, and Blitz (with 2 of my best competitors on Strikes) both indoor carpet and offroad dirt. All these trucks work well.

Just remember to only make one change (or me, sometimes two!) at a time and then run to check your trucks reaction. The Blitz is a very stable, quick carpet truck in stock form with minor set-up- oh; definitely watch that servo saver!
