Arrow Buggy/Electrics Situation

I have a Losi XXX BK2 buggy coming soon, along with a Axiom 19t motor, most likely a Novak Tempest esc, Integy 10x5 charger & some 3000 packs. Is there anything I should now about any of these products, or should do? I'm completely new to electric.

I will see if I can help.

Can you give me specifically what you want to know?

It sounds like your setup is fine , I am not sure if what you have chosen is new or not. personally for 19T racing I like the Reedy Quad Mag but to each his own.

If you can describe better what you plan to do with this it would also help.

i personally use orion/peak dynasty/element motors with fantastic results.

2 other guys at the track use the reedy quad (the one with the flames on the can) and i noticed that it is unusually loud do you have this same noise like a high pitched whine. we were told it is do the air moving in the space between the magnets.

I have noticed too that is alittle loud, i thought it may have been my tranny but when I switched to our spec motor to practice it went away.

The motor however was a screamer. Really fast. I would definitely recommend it!

I used to use the Dynasty motor. I really liked it when I ran touring. Really good motor, better than the Trinity garbage.

I lent my Quad Mag to the LHS owner who runs touring and usually runs a Dynasty. After using the motor and getting the gearing right. He liked it. After going back to his dynasty and running it, he is now ordering some Quad Mags to run. He is very hard to impress and this motor basically did that.

I use the quad magnet 19t Reedy and am really impressed with it. I don't notice anything loud either. Make sure the motor is broken in too. I think the power is noticeably stronger than an Orion Element, etc.

Nrctc3-Upgrade the Novak Tempest to a Novak GT7. The Tempest looks cool, but will glitch the servo to full right if you punch it out of a turn and your mod motor draws more than 30 amps! (Most mod motos will pull 200 to 300 amps for about .010 of a second from a standing start!!!!! Which = Glitch to the Right for sure!)

I know this because I helped test the Tempest when it was first released in late 1995 from Novak!

Hope this helps ya!
