Arrow New offroad 1/10th bodies.

I'll prabably get flamed for this, but is there anybody else who would like to see a Toyota TRD Tundra or a Nissan Titon body for the 10th scale offroad trucks? Seems we have slim pickens for bodies: ford, Chevy, dodge and the Crowd Pleazer.

Well, of course the chevy and the GMC look the same.... same IRL also. I forgot that there isn't a dodge either. The fact that 2 of the 4 bodies we have to choose from (as far as proline goes) look basically the same. Hense the reason I was wondering if others were looking for more variety. Look at the different touring bodies there are. There is getting to be a decent selection of 12th scale bodies also.

Default yup

I have to agree. However, I think that the touring bodies all look pretty much the same, aside for whether they put a bump in the middle of the hood, or make a flat rear wing.. I would love to see variety in truck bodys. They make the croud pleazer which resembles nothing. So, why couldn't they make a truck body that isn't currently being raced like the Dodge. I would also love to see the Tundra body made, like the one in the Ivan Stewart racing series.

Point being, they make the bodies so devoid of proper identifications and get them approved. Its like buying a generic diecast 1/64th car that almost looks like an escort, or maybe a porche...

No, I'm not. I wish I could. I was actually hoping to spark a lot of interest, then I was going to point pro-line and parma to this thread showing there was interest. I believe if a company saw there was a "want" for a particular product, they would see the opportunity to make $$$ and produce it.

I agree, i think there should be close to as many body styles for stadium trucks as the Tmaxx... they have PAGES after PAGES of bodies! I'd like to see one of those OLD Jeep trucks!

I think it has to do with licensing more than anything. They might want too much to release the brand name to the companies. Look at the cheap shot Proline is dong on the Modena and Lambo bodies they are producing now. They decal sheets have all the parts to say Ferrari, just not forming the word on the sheet in one piece.

Everybody want's their piece of the action, even from hobiest that are probably just wanting to have the same truck body on thier RC car as they drive to the track.

McAllister Racing has a Dodge Dakota to fit the XXX-T. I have that one. HPI also has a couple Hummer type bodies that can be made to fit the 1/10th scale trucks.

http://www.mcallisterracing.com/racing/page3.html

I was also just looking the HPI page and they have a Dodge body and a Bug body that could problably be put on a XXX-T or T3/4 or whatever.
