Snoopy, do you race 1/8th in Australia and if so are you attending the NSW state titles in march?

That x-ray will be a work of art. I can't wait to build it. Its german made so it will have alot of its own features. Unlike all of its japonese counterparts. Gs, Kyosho, Ho Bao, and Mugen.

Neil,

I think that Xray kits are made in Slovakia, not Germany.

no - Kyosho/Mugen - Japanese, and Hobao/GS - Taiwan.

and yes... there is a difference.

Lets hope the xb8 does have a lot of its own features, and lets hope the buggy isn't as crap as the preview pictures they choose to release.

if the XB8 is more expensive than the kanai series of kyosho then x-ray might have a problem marketing the product not unless they( x-ray team) won the 1/8 off road world championship and that will be another story

People don't necessarily buy cars simply because of which world championship it has won........just look at how well the Xray T1 is doing.........

Yes, the quality is what i am interested in. X-ray cars are always good quality. Even if the car is not 100% on design, you know that they will make upgrade kits for the car if required.
