travymoto1, let me know how the setup works for you. Also, I believe Gene Hickerson should be at the state race. Find him, if you have any questions. Good luck.

Rich,

I appreciate you posting the setup. Just in the street my car feels way better. Jim's engine tips seemed to cure my prob there too.

Thanks to both of you.

Rich, my buggy was way better. I qualified in the C main, but seeing as how there were 60+ buggies and the fact that it was my third race w/ the buggy, I was pleased. Not to mention the fact that the competition is pretty stout at any given FL State Series race.

I used a combo of your and Gene's setups. I used 1.5 piston w/ 450wt rear and 600wt front. I also used the #2 camber link on the rear hub carrier. Thanks again for the setup.

travymoto1, you're welcome. That's pretty solid to make the C with that many buggies. That's one thing I know for a fact, the RC America/XRAY drivers are some of the BEST people in racing. Glad you like the buggy.

Does anyone know what thread the shock oil conversions was in. I know that someone posted something about the conversion from Xray to Associated or even Losi. I just can't find it.

Hi Guys,

Looking for some opinion and suggestions here and I hope you guys don't mind the question and can help me out.

As you guys know, we recently launched our nitro off-road website, www.maxxtruck.com and I would like to see if you guys would be interested in us carrying XRAY XB8 and XB8R parts? We had a few customer that came in the shop who owns XB8 that said it has been difficult for them to get parts at a decent price. I'm wondering if that's the same across the board for other Xray owners? and if so, are there particular parts or section of the car we should focus on? Thanks for taking the time to read this, I sincerely appreciate the feedback

Also (and you guys are probably more in-tune about this than I am) I was told there will be a revision of the XB8 coming early next year and also possibly a truggy that's due launch soon after. Sounds like the truggy class is going to really take off

Steve Wang
