Default Havoc spec system in B4

Hey. Wondering if anyone has this setup in their b4, Im trying to find a good brushless setup for a descent price. It's gonna be for practice days at my local track and some racing. One question I have is the size of the esc,the rtr lrp setup heatsink just touches my j concept body and I don't want the new esc to do that is the lrp just really big or does that body just sit lower? Any info on the havoc setup will be very helpful. Thanks

The Havoc ESC is slightly lower than the GTB in height and doesn't require the huge power capacitor of the GTB so it's actually pretty small. Make a vent ahead of the ESD and an exhaust vent on the back of the body's side pod to allow some air to pass and you shouldn't need a fan.

Thanks for the info. So how is this system in general besides size. Would this be a good choice?

They're great for 2wd buggy. You wouldn't need a motor more powerful than an 8.5 for buggy (I run a 10.5 on a high grip track) anyway. If I were buying a system tomorrow, I'd get the Havoc w/ a 10.5 motor and call it done.

Thank you for that reply. The 10.5 is th one I have been wanting to get too and after hearing that, makes me feel like it's a good choice. Thanks again
