Well I have a two slash's and love them I bash hard and race. I went and got a sc10 for mostly racing, I liked it but I am not a pro driver and I do mess up often and I broke a a arm, I have never broke one on my slash, I liked it but wasn't for me so I sold it to my uncle and likes it. He complains about breakneck stuff to but he is a 1/8th buggy racer.

Thanks i needed a good laugh this morning! That video proves that they are all tough trucks! Wow those trucks took a beating! LOL WOW! That course was tight and technical, serious skills needed to make it through those tight sections!

Yup, we always have a good time in the SCT class. That's prolly why it's the biggest in the area. One of those trucks was a total homebuilt. He used a CUTTING BOARD as the chassis, and was running on 4S! He broke it once or twice, but I gotta hand it to him, that was the most original RC racer I've seen. It handled pretty darn good considering how much it weighed(prolly 6 lbs!)

That track is FUN! It's my first experience(as well as many other locals) with a wall ride. We've been trying to convince the two tracks we race at most to use one, and always got shot down. It did take a little work though. Initially, the transition onto the wall ride was harsh, a real chassis tweaker. By the mains, they had built up smoother transitions, and you didn't even hear it any more.

Overall, it was a ton of fun. Can't wait for the big race at the end of this month.

I had been waiting for losi to come out with an SCT for a while because I am basically a losi guy and I've got a ton of XXX-T parts. I was let down when they decided to not base the strike on the XXX-T, I was further let down after reading the strike thread and finding that the strike has so many problems.

I've read though the SC-10 threads, Blitz thread, and the Strike thread and I think I will will going with either the SC-10 or Blitz.

The blitz sounds better overall, but it would be nice to have so much parts support with the SC-10.

The best 2 trucks are the slash and Blitz in my opinion.
But the SC10 looks the best, on the realistic side, just wish
they wouldnt break so easy.
Why does everyone think the sc10 is fragile? mine breaks less than my slash!!

I wonder this as well. At first I believed it was true because everyone was saying it. When it comes to the stock parts all I have broken is one front arm and the stock servo

I bought a bunch of stock parts and haven't had to use any of them but a front arm and servo.

I have ran my sc10 all season and havent broken anything, I do use a chassis brace though... I own a Blitz also and have never broken anything on it either but i would choose the sc10 over the blitz just because of the lack of turning radius it has, even with the mods it cannot come close to a sc10's. The Blitz is a top notch truck though and you cant go wrong with either, I cant speak for the Slash yet, but I do know at my track the only time a Slash wins is in the stock slash class( I just bought a used one for this class)

Well I think Jesse Robbers has something to say about the Blitz not being able to compete. He just destroyed everyone in Mod at CRCRC in the largest offroad race in the country last weekend. Watch the vid on Youtube and see he own every brand SCT that is out. I'm not even into HPI but he schooled everyone.
