It's not hard to waterproof a lipo. If you have a hard case, just take the case apart and use silicon all over and in between the case before you glue it back together. Make sure you also use silicon or shoe goo where the wires exit the hard case.

If you have a soft case I believe you can just dip it in some plastic dip a few times and let the dip try on the lipo. For extra protection after the dip, take a ballon and put it around the lipo. Use a zip-tie to pull the end of the ballon tight over the cords. Bam, waterproof lipo without spending an insane amount of dollars on a MaxAmp$ battery.

It is nice that some things come waterproof out of the box, but a little ingenuity and $2 in supplies goes a long way. if you are looking for a ROAR legal battery, then get ready to open your wallet.

do a google search

conformal coating

flexible silicone coating designed for PC boards and like, uv reactive for easy QA

you could pretty much make anything waterproof.

tekin said they coat all their esc PC boards with it. i'm pretty sure that what max amp uses too.

speed passion = rebadged hobbywing. and hobbywing is splash proof
if not rebaged then made by same manufacturer.

only concern for motor waterproofing is the bearings. you'll probably need to replace bearings with something heavyduty rubber contact seal type.
