The T4 has durability issues when it comes to the front end. I beat on my XXX-t twice as hard and have no breaks. (read the info at www.rc10t4.com).

I will be moving to Wellington or anywhere I find a Job. Probably Ft. Lauderdale area.

Also if anyone hears of an mechanical engineering job please email me.

Thanks

Rene

Ft lauderdale huh, well there's a really nice track there, but is all nitro, and mostly 8th scale.

I used to go on practice days and I was always the only one with an electric, I'm told electric died off a few years ago.

The track is huge and a 10th scale car is going to take a beating on those enourmose jumps for the 8th scales. Trust me I know, though maybe they have changed the layout since I was last there a few months ago. Even the nitro stadium trucks were breaking apart left and right, mostley off this huge jump by the drivers stand

Pretty much all the off roads tracks in florida don't race electric anymore, its all nitro at this point

BTW, it cracks me up that the durango took the worst feature from the cat the front hub carriers and incorperated them into its design.

That was one of the cats weaknesses, the front hubs had so much play/wobble in them, impacting camber

Totally wandering off topic.

But if the tracks are all for 1/8 gas my Emaxx with a Hacker c50 should be useable there??

I had a XX4, one of the first off the line. Had plenty of issues with it but it seems the last ones they made were dead on. Maybe pickup an older XX4 Worlds to fun around with.

I am really surprised that 4wd buggy just isn't more popular. You would think the Touring guys would want something to do in the dirt since they deal with 4wd all the time.

As for the T4 durability, only issue I had was the front bulkhead snapping since associated didn't include a metal hingepin brace. I have snapped two arms, same side but they were riduculously hard hits. But overall, I really like the truck.

Thanx for the input, i also just heard that the XXX4 are kinda weak as in durability. i also have a T4 and i love it never broke anything yet, and it's just awesome and yesterday i was the only person in the A-main for stock truck w/ a AE. and i qualified 8, just making it, and took 5th, and the feild was only seperated by like 2 seconds w/ 2-9th spot w/ a 18 5:06.?? that was crazy i thought. but ihad no problems w/ it cept i just had to break in new tires so a little ass happy first race.
