Yeah, I was hesitant to drop that much cash on "just a motor mount" but took a chance and am very glad I did. Well worth it.

Glad I haven't bought an HV then. One of the tracks I race it is very ROAR oriented. I'm running a CC 5700 kv and its actually much better than I thought it would be.

Here are some pics of the new cnc cut 7075 chasiss that will be comming in soon, I talked about it on Ofnalive with other option parts that are comming also, and also in are the running changes for the new front brace as you can see this one is far different from the other generation braces that we worked on.

I am liking the new chassis.

I was wondering if graphite would be feasible?

New chassis and front bumper look good DJ.

I also see the Taller body mount/ roll bar mod on there as well.

What's the weight difference with the new cut chassis? Or was it geared towards less flex?

It weighs the same as the 6061 but is a strong alum. the cutting to make it light as the 6061 it's just a hair lighter, sisde to side flex is less. The body mount is a mod I did on Ofnalive.

Just looked at the ROAR rules and do see it states 1/10 motors only. What are you HV guys going to run instead of the HV?

Will that battery tray work with old chassis also? Chris

also, those lower front arms look alot beefier. Is that another change coming soon? I haven't broke an arm yet, but I can see them breaking at some point.

Looks like he just did the battery tray mod as well, cut out the side and lay it flat. Did that long time ago and I noticed a difference right away.

Not run at a stupid ROAR event. Anything other than those events, the HV motors shouldn't be a problem. Race tracks are smarter than ROAR. They won't exclude a HUGE portion of people by applying a stupid rule like that.

My local track will not allow the HV. Most of the 4x4 SCTs are using a normal 540 can or the Velineon.

I don't see myself going to any Roar events anytime soon, the JBRL series is unlimited for motors so I will run those races, the 1/8th Roar event at Rev was not good as in Roar taking care of business till the last minute of making changes. If 85% of the tracks follow the roar rule then I would change and go back my VXL 3s but now I'm thinking is that legal? Shoot forget it club races for me. Nitro I'll keep it Roar spec-ed

Damm I don't even get credit for the Body mount / roll bar idea?
