[QUOTE=HYPERBOY;6690663]body post: in cup of water 3min, microwave, pull out let dry overnight.

body: i trimmed out fenderwells more and lowered post so they dont stick up, currently on hole 3.

Thanks a lot you two!

I will give that a shot. I thought about trimming the fenders so I guess its not such a bad idea.Mine wont turn out as nice as yours most likely.

Nice Pic above with yours down all the way, I for some stupid reason thought it would dig cuts into the tires and mess it up and your body doesn't look trimmed around the fenders too . Guess I was too dang PARANOID!!!

Lowered them down to about 3/4 of the way down , I didn't do the 3 min water trick with drying overnight yet . I trimmed the fenders up ,seemed to help a lot looks wise and clears the tires better. Actually the curved scissors did the job well for a one year newb.

Hey Kid, please tell us what size motor that is.

Been following this thread for a while. I really like this truck but for some reason was ready to get a Slash 4x4.

I saw these at the ROAR race 2 weeks ago and they look awesome. The OFNA guys were there and they had 3 on hand. I decided then that this would be the one for me.

Nitro House has them available now but I'm going to wait until tower gets them because as a Super Saver Member I get $50 off so I'll be able to get it to my door for $219

Does the kit come with an adapter to mount the 5MM pinion to a motor with 1/8" shaft?

No it doesn't, but the 11T pinion it comes with fits a 3mm shaft fine (regular 1/10th motor size)
