I beat out slashes with zero rear grip and way to much torque (thank you castle sv3!) in a bandit. but the purpose for this thread is setups. if you are taking what I guess you could call a jump (not going above 2 or 3 feet in the air if even) do you lover your bandits? I don't want to widen mine but I don't want to traction roll either way for your conditions what is your setup post down below! I run stock xl5 setup but with a 2s lipo and a 4600kv castle sv3
The only thing I did to mine was aluminum hubs and caster blocks and put hole shots in the rear, and def puy rpm arms on it and adjust the camber, and I adjusted the slipper then never touched it and I placed in the top 5 every race and made the a main in big events.....I know I miss mine

I use to have a Banidt. The Titan Motor died after about 2 battery packs. Sold the XL5 and got a Hobby Wing setup.
Thankfully JConcepts make a body/wing for the Bandit (ones that don't have a receiver box) for if your wanting to go a different look that isn't square like the standard one.

We have a guy at our track that races a bandit and he will beat 9 out of 10 of you regardless of what car you are driving, myself included. 90% of it is the driver and he is a good driver. Imagine the horror of lining up on the grid and seeing a bandit in front of you. I am going to post this link in our thread and hopefully he will see this, a set up from his bandit is probably priceless for anyone racing one.

I would believe it! they are a force to be reckoned with! as wide as the rules will allow, near enough the same length and once you get some good race tires and a driver you could beat a b5!
