Exclamation tekin rs vs tekin rs pro?

which shall i get for 1/10th scale buggy racing? and why? im new to the hobby but i dont want to waste my money by buying something i will upgrade later.

Are you running a 5.5 or faster? No? get the RS

thats the only difference....

That and if I am not mistaken you can tune a few things directly on the ESC w/o using the Hotwire with the "pro" model. But for an extra $50+ is it worth it? I didn't think so and went with the RS. I LOVE IT!

That may be, I'm not 100% sure.... I just use the hotwire for everthing

You can tune everything the same on the ESC with either the RS or RS Pro. The hotwire gives you a lot more tuning for both. The ONLY difference is when you get down to the 5.5 turn range. I know in 2wd buggy the RS is more than any motor you would reasonably put in it. If you are 4wd, the Pro would be better as the standard is only good to about an 8.5 turn before it starts to push the limits (I have tested).

The Pro has a lower internal resistance and can handle a lower turn motor. For 10th scale 2wd buggy, the RS should be more than adequate.
