Never tried the split diff holder in ebug, can you get the diff out without pulling the bottom screws?

I've been running a 16pinion on the mp9e motor temp has been fine but just dropped it down to 14 to hopefully get more low end out of the hole speed.

Running a HW combo 2200

The spur is stock (anyone know what stock is?)

What do you run on a close tight track?

stock spur is 46
you want your motor to just finish revving out just before you get on the brakes at the end of the longest straight away.
sometimes it is hard to hear this on electric, over revving
will cause it to overheat too.

Thank you, this track has very little straight away and mostly turns and jumps. Changing to this lower pinion made a world of difference for my speed and getting out of corners. I can't wait to get the time tracker and see how much better i'm doing now. I also lowered the gear on my losi 8 truggy but I think I may have gone to low on that one, the motor was overheating. BUT I also had a battery go bad so that may have caused it as well.

Hi, i'm a new owner of the MP9e TKI4, currently running a tekin rx8 and smc 1900kv with a hitec hs7940th and am loving it so far (experiencing some turning issues but believe a glitch buster should fix it).
I was just wondering what bodies could fit other than the stock MP9e body? I've come across the Bittydesign Force MP9 TKI4 nitro body which i really like the look of but concerned whether it will fit over a 4s lipo pack.

Any help would be greatly appereciated.

Cheers

What hop ops for the Tki4e are recommend; i have the 13˚ Alu. front hub carriers, titanium turnbuckle and screw sets, and other aluminium hop ups like wing brace and suspension holders. Just asking for opinion on other upgrade parts and whether or not to get them

BlueBird servos got mad torque and speed, decent reliability and its fairly cheap from rcmart or ebay

Servos
I have no experience with BlueBird servos so I can't really comment on those. Savox has some really good budget servos and they sell replacement gears basically everywhere. I doubt that you would be able to find some replacement gears for the BlueBird servos easily. Get one with at least 150 oz-in of torque (more will help) and a speed of 0.15 sec/60degrees. I run the Sanwa PGS servos in my eighth scale cars and they work great but are quite expensive. Here is a great servo for your purposes and is on the cheaper side.

Hop-ups
17.5 casters (personal preference for big tracks)
Tki3 b-plate is also popular (also personal preference)
lightweight diff shafts
maybe some skid plates if your track is rough
all the tuning stuff like front wings, springs, oils, pistons, etc... (I like the 8 hole pistons better)
all the cool titanium and gunmetal stuff to make the car look cool
This isn't really a hop-up but you can mod the battery case so that you can fit the normal Tki4 nitro body on. It will give different handling characteristics. (Jared Tebo does it )
