As far as the build anything really much different from the original TKI, tolerances and etc? Would be interested to hear how it drives when you are done...

Not sure about the tolerances, this is the first Kyosho I have built, Actually this is only the second 1/8 buggy I have ever built. Last summer I had a Xray 808 2009 spec.
I''l let you know how it drives. Plan on taking it to the track on Thursday.

no mount in the kit, just stuff it in the rcbox if you'r able, if not, tape it to the mudguard.

I just picked up a MyLaps RC4 transponder and it fits easily. It's much smaller than the AMBrc.

You guys ever had any problems with the diffs in the MP9e? What are some of the parts that break often? I was reading some thing about the front lower arms breaking a lot, any thing else?

Kyosho diffs in the MP9 are bullet proof. I purchased total spare sets when I purchased my TKI last year. 7 gallons on my car and the original ones are still on.

Upper and lower front arms, more for crashing and mistakes than wear.

Rear lower arms again more for crashing and mistakes

If you get the SE kit and convert it the rear hub carriers are soft and should be changed to the hard ones. In the actual MP9 E I think they are the hard ones.

As far as I know all MP9 kits have the updated bulkheads for the diffs, so nothing required there.

Like I said I have many hours on my TKI chassis, 7 gallons of nitro. You pay for the Kyosho quality but you will not replace parts as fast as the cheaper cars for sure. As with anything parts can break on anything when pushed hard enough but car for car you will not find many others to stack up to the MP9.

Enjoy and have fun.

I reccOmend upgrading to the metal wing stay cross braces right away. It will save you from replacing the wing mount too often. The plastic ones are really soft and the screws rip out easily.

Do you happen to have a part number? I can't figure out what part you're talking about.

Thanks!
