I heard back from kyosho, about the alum diff plate. It is only the plastic one.. Ill be honest. I would have been pissed off to not get what was advertised. I had been considering other kyosho cars but now I'm not sure. If they are willing to give consumer less than they advertise on their own website. I don't think I wanna take that chance. Just sayin.

Hı
are new mp9e and mp9 tkı3 sharing same chassis ? I'm considering to buy mp9e and the nitro parts for using the car sometimes nitro and sometimes ep but the chassis itself is a little pricey ..

If we are talking about the Mp9e TKI.....
I'm pretty sure it does.....
That's not the hard chassis, What the new kit comes with is the standard mp9 chassis.
This is the hard chassis.

LOL, All I know is there was 2 different chassis because I've had them both. One is the dark color like the one you have (Standard) and one is the hard anodized , Much lighter in color (almost gold) . Both chassis will wear off on the bottom but the kit one will be gone after 1 pack on a outdoor track. The hard chassis is also stiffer and more expensive

The tki3 and the MP9e tki come with the same chassis.
There are two different chassis out there and one does seem to be a little stiffer. Anodizing on both wear off quickly. I don't really like the slightly stiffer chassis. The handling on the stock chassis is a lot more consistent and forgiving.
According to some of the posts on the nitro thread, the difference in the two chassis may be one chassis is 3mm where as another chassis is 1/8" which is 3.175mm. But that would also mean one is made where metric measurements are standard for aluminum stock, and one is made where imperial is standard. In any case there are two different chassis, they handle different, but the MP9e tki and the tki3 do come with the same chassis.
