Be interesting to see how much plastic is on the new Nitro MP9 RTR.

The new kit does not come with the hard anodized (Gun metal) chassis.

I'm no expert on the Kyosho stuff......but I'm pretty sure it just needs the nitro motor mount and radio tray and you're in business.

That's not the hard chassis, What the new kit comes with is the standard mp9 chassis.
This is the hard chassis.

LOL, All I know is there was 2 different chassis because I've had them both. One is the dark color like the one you have (Standard) and one is the hard anodized , Much lighter in color (almost gold) . Both chassis will wear off on the bottom but the kit one will be gone after 1 pack on a outdoor track. The hard chassis is also stiffer and more expensive

The tki3 and the MP9e tki come with the same chassis.

There are two different chassis out there and one does seem to be a little stiffer. Anodizing on both wear off quickly. I don't really like the slightly stiffer chassis. The handling on the stock chassis is a lot more consistent and forgiving.

According to some of the posts on the nitro thread, the difference in the two chassis may be one chassis is 3mm where as another chassis is 1/8" which is 3.175mm. But that would also mean one is made where metric measurements are standard for aluminum stock, and one is made where imperial is standard. In any case there are two different chassis, they handle different, but the MP9e tki and the tki3 do come with the same chassis.
