Ya maybe, but in my opinion MAXX anything is lame. They should update the Slash, come out with a "real" race vehicle to compete with the 2wd truck/buggy class, put out a 1/5 scale, a big block 1/8 nitro, ANYTHING other then another Emaxx of any kind.

We already know it's a VXL Emaxx of some sort. Look at Towerhobbies.com
There is a link for it eariler in the thread.

Mini Summit may be cool but only if it more more of the Losi MRC type and less MT.

The Revo platform is my favorite ever designed but even I am getting sick of seeing it on 10 different vehicles. TIME FOR SOMETHING NEW TRAXXAS!!!!

It's rc elitists that turn people away from the hobby especially racing. I am glad that I had a friend that was new to the hobby when we both began racing around the same time, we learned by ourselves and we now dominate the elitist snobs every race weekend.

I will place a bet on everyone that it won't be a VXL maxx... the 3908# has been around since the new e-maxx came out. ~2 years ago

Ok I can live with that. I don't like some companies either.

One thing I will say is that Traxxas does alot more for hobbyshops than most companies and since they don't sponsor millions of racers like some companies do they really do help out the hobbyshop. These companies that sponsor almost anyone might help themselves out but in the long run they hurt the hobbyshop so I would rather buy from a company like Traxxas.

I think Traxxas is positioned perfectly to come out with an electric 1/8 buggy. It will probably be some kind of Rustler type buggy that can be raced with the electric 1/8s.

Traxxas has no doubt helped the industry with a affordable vehicles and highly available supply of spare parts. I never had to wait three weeks for hubs for my Traxxas like my MP9 and four weeks for a exchanged motor from Nova Rossi. Say what you will you stand a better chance of run time being up and running after problems with a traxxas vs a kyosho..

I started out with
Duratrax Axis Buggy
Ofna Pirate Monster MT
Then REVO 3.3
Then REVO 3.3 Platinum
Then Electric rustler for indoor 10th

Now Kyosho MP9
Now Kyosho RT5
Now Kyosho STRR

The lower end vehicles got me into the game, not the expensive ones.. JMO

Would be nice to see something new developed from Traxxas that is a different and better step from the REVO platform. We will see...

It's a emaxx vxl.

If they did make a e-slayer, what would power it? Castle 2200 or vxl?

Also I don't understand why every bashes traxxas? They don't act like hardcore racers, they are rock solid bashers and the slash created the most realistic and closest racing out there.
