Cool Tekin ESC Question

I know that Tekin has been out of business for a few years. However, I have several of their products and think they're some of the best around. The question I have concerns one of the last things they put out, the G-10 Pro. I haven't been able to find any information on this awesome ESC. Any info would be helpful. For example: motor limit, forward and brake current rating, etc. Thanks for any replies!

I believe that it runs at 4500MHz, I'll try to remeber to check the manual later when I get home from work. I'm still using mine in my Touring Car, it's a little smaller than the Novak GT7 when you add that huge cap onto it.

Default reason for out of business

Hi, there,

Does anyone know why does Tekin went out of business.
Cos I feel the products are so much better than Novak if you compare them side by side.

tks

Not sure what the real reason was but there's been several rumors circulating about the owner's emotional health.

Novak stumbled on the marketing strategy of giving the product away to top racers and then selling the reason the racers won was because of their products. Eventhough the Tekin products were technologically ahead of Novak it was Novak's marketing skill that won the ESC and charger war. I'm still using a BC100 charger I bought used in the mid eighties.

Default Tekin

yes, I agreed marketing play an important role in RC.

I am still using the Tekin 411G, 410K, 610 speedcontrol and the BC210 charger.

All of them are still working fine until now.
