I suppose you can use robot servos if you want some torque... But you'll pay for it in transit time...

HSR5990TG from Hitec is a monster.

But my favorite in RC is Associated/Ace Hobby DS1015. It's fast, it's strong, it comes with an extrusion on the housing...

If you want to go a bit cheaper, the DS1313 is also an awesome choice...
+1 on Hitec 7955's they work great.

Yup, Thunder Tiger bought off AE a couple of years ago. I believe Ace Hobbies were the distributors of Thunder Tiger in the US.

If you go to Team Associated's office down in Southern California, the front lobby says Associated and Ace Hobbies...

Ace Hobbies = Team Associated

I believe AE DS1015s and DS1313s are a direct rebadge of Ace Hobby DS1015s and DS1313s.

My Robot Magazine featured "Ace Hobby" servos awhile back in an article about some toy fair...

The only thing is, ACE/AE servos uses Futaba splines...

I am pretty impressed with the stats on the new Orion servos, the 1409 is pretty nice! 198oz/0.09 or the 2015 278oz/0.15

Good specs and even better pricing! $90 on amain either one!

I am going to get a couple of the 1409's to try out!

The ACE-AE XP servos are great servos that are priced very well for the performance that you receive. My local hobby shop sells the XP branded DS1313 for $70 and the DS1015 for $80. Best bang for the buck for servos imo.
