What's the most durable 1/10 4WD buggy made?

But yeah hit a concrete wall and anything will break..lol
My B44 I might break a few a-arms and that's it, but I have not broken
anything on it in 7 months. Dont wreck and you shouldnt break a thing.
The Durango buggy is nice, but I refuse to pay 600+ for a 1/10 buggy.
And if I did I would get a 511, if I didnt already have a 501x.
When the first predator X10 cars came out you hit one jump and it would break. Probably the weakest car ever. But it was fast when it was running. Heard they got all those bugs out with the X11, at least some.

Here is a video clip of the track I am running on.. nothing too crazy in my opinion.. its was actually a set of 3 small jumps in a row (which most cars clear at once) that cracked the chassis in half

Every 1/10 4wd buggy will break parts if you crash hard enough. I've owned quite a few 4wd buggies and the toughest is definately the Tamiya 501x, it's built like a tank. The arms are thick and durable. As with any off road vehicle belt or shaft, drive train maintenance is required. I regretted selling my 501x away and now am looking to get one again cos it handles really well. As for the DF-03, stay away from it, it breaks way too easily...dark impact? hmmm it's more like dark lemon...

I can only speak from experience. I only raced MOD 4WD for 2 months in 2007 due to a local track closing. Week in and week out my 501X never broke, hell it's been sitting on the shelf for the past 2 years with a load of nib A-arms/parts stashed away . I bought many A-arms due to seeing everyone else breaking them non-stop back then (very rough demanding track). It (501X) seemed to be stronger than the other buggies during that time period. That being said, can't speak about 4WD's I've never seen run like the D4 and some of the newer machines. Keeping it REAL
BTW- My Dark Impact was a joke!! Damn you Tamiya

From what Ive experienced owning quite a few kyosho and tamiya kits, The tamiya kits hardly, if ever, broke. I run a DB01 fully upgraded beyond recognition and to be honest the only time I break is when I do something extremely stupid. Beyond that Ive smacked it into poles, walls, crashed into other cars and I never had a breakage problem. On the other hand every kyosho kit Ive had broke stuff each and every time out, would probably never buy anything kyosho again. Ive heard quite a few stories from people with zx-5's who break suspension mounts like clock work. Who needs that? I know they perform well but confidence in your vehicle is very important.
I have so many spare Tamiya parts laying around that I dunno if Im ever even going to get around to using them. So far in the 2 years Ive owned my DB01 Ive broken maybe 2 front arms, and a shock shaft. IN 2 YEARS!. So naturally I bought me a 501x WE, skipped on the 511 for now.
I also own an AE B4 FT and a LOSI XXX-CR, yes they are 2WD I know. Both are good but Ive found the Losi more forgiving and more durable than the B4. You gotta be on your A Game with that kit at all times, otherwise itll turn around and bite you in the a$$. Its also broken way more times than my XXX-CR. So although some Losi kits are fragile I would buy a Losi over an AE any day, But above all Tamiya quality is unmatched. I also have heard good things about the D4s.
Just some input from experience.

the losi xx4 is the best 4wd buggy ever made, its proven with the test of time.some may laugh but it cant be deined, i built my xx4 new in 1997 and its as strong now as it was then, and with the brushless system its even faster and better now.after all these years its still a race winner.

Durability wise I say the Dex410(if built right) and then the Tamiya.
I never broke anything with my B44 or xx4 but everytime someone took it for a few laps they would break an arm.
By the way Durango is coming out with a cheaper version of the dex410. At $350 I think it really will be the best value of any car.
