Rustler issues
hey guys i am having trouble with my rustler it has a 5700kv mamba and a sidewinder esc when i hit the throttle it is very laggy and will go maybe five feet at the most. and i go to my shop and find the manual and try to reset the esc and it wont reset please help thanks
and i was thinking could i cut the switch of my esc and use a vxl fan and use the connection of the battery as a switch?

Have you checked all the connections from your ESC to motor? Are they on the correct terminals? Have you checked for poor solder joints?

If it won't calibrate try hooking up the castle link and downloading the latest beta software. Does the motor stutter really bad or just shut off completely? I had my motor wires wrapped up and zip tied to the rear shock tower in my Slash and it had similar issues to what you are describing but turned out one of the wires going from the motor to ESC came unplugged.
