I have some questions, hopefully here are some guys to help me.

I have recently bought a vorza.
The gear setup is: 46 / 19 gear
Lipo: Gens 4s - 5200mah - 40c cont./ 80c short term (new)
Tires: originals out of the box

1 Question
I run last day on our base track ( short gras en mid size), not warm weather, and after the lipo save of the esc turned on, battery run time +- 10 a 15min, first battery was hot but the second one was even hotter even a little bit blown up!
Engine a little bit warm, esc same as engine, complete normal.
Ok, second round i drive almost all the time on full throttle, even true the corners.
  • Started from the esc i have the original cables 10awg, then i go to other connectors to 12awg, would that be the problem?
  • Or is it because i drive to long on full speed without a small break?
  • Or is the gear to small for the track, because i can ride to long full throttle?
  • Or other suggestions...

What are the best solutions for me, other gear combination, (cables have i already on agenda to change), other lipo...??

2 question;
- what is the best WT to use in the shocks?
My shocks in the rear are to easy to push in.

Thanks already for the help !!
hello,
your gens ace lipos are fine (exept maybe if you have a faulty pack,so be sure how the charging goes).40c means that your packs should be able to deliver over 200A constant so thatís perfect.i had gens ace too and would buy them again.
First Get rid of the Deans connectors and go to xt90 or EC5 kind of connectors.if that doesnt solve your problem, you gear down to 17t pinion.
I went to 19t on 6s with stock tires, esc and motor and bashed till lvc in the mid summer.first my Deans melted,so since EC5 i didnít had any trouble....(check YouTube Channel ....AnthonyG )
greets

Hi guys! I have a quick question. I broke a gear in my diff, the part is HPI101142 but I am having a hard time finding it anywhere. I know that lots of D8 parts are compatible, and I do believe this part for the D8 is compatible to the vorza HBSC8101-1. I just want to make sure if I get that for one diff, it would be ok and I would not have to change ALL diffs to match. I don't think so but I want to check before I buy just incase there is a slight difference and it works if all of them are the same. I would hate to have the front and back diffs running at different ratios.

Thanks!

Yeah I ordered that. I was just making sure it is exactly the same part. Only one piece is missing a tooth, so if i just replace that one piece from the gear set you linked into my existing diff gears will be ok? or do i have to replace all the parts of that diff for it to work, and maybe even the front diff to match if the ratios are different or something.

I suspect it is the exact same part with just a different part number but I wanted to be sure.

Safer replacing all the gears that way they can mesh in together properly when they breakin. That way none will fail prematurely.

I would say YES, D8 and vorza use the same diff case.

Thank you for repyl

But I was see a note on website : "it is also compatible with the rest of the D8 series vehicles but must be combined with D817 series drivetrain parts"

Needed to Update:
HBSB034 12x21x5mm Bearings
HBSB033 12x18x4mm Bearings
HBS114743 Differential Pinion Gear for Dog Bone Center Shaft
HBS114762 Snap Ring

I think troublesome change

Default Want to run Spectrum smart batteries - need taller body mounts

Hi all,

im trying to move to spectrum smart batteries for my cars, and they ďfitĒ, but man are they a bit too tall and bulge the body and put a lot of stress on the body / clips / pins.

yes I realize there are better 3S packs out there but I like the smart batteries features .... but Iím open to a really hot and high MAhr set too 👍

1- any commentary on spectrum smart batteries?
2- really looking to find a taller body mount post. Any ideas on a source or idea to make some? I donít have a cnc nor do I want to pay $200 for a shop to do it!!! Lol.

thank you all!
