running single bat can be achieved 2 ways, simply solder the red wire off one plug, and the short one off the other, then hook the red wire where the short one was. wala, single plug. OR you can get a female plug, and make both the pins on the back touch, ie a loop cable. when you are over at hobbyking, getting batteries get ec5 plugs>>> http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...tor_Pair_.html

i have a video on how to solder them easy peasy, here>>>
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1G64UO-h4Fs

Have a look at thier charger too, i have it, run off a xbox PS, it cranks.>>>

Deffs get the best Batteriy, you wont regret it. Go Hard Or Go Home, thats what the Vorzas ALLLLL About

Questions?? ????????????Big Bore Shock Question????????????

I have an extra set of the Big Bore 112mm shocks. Can I use them in the front (& back) with the standard front tower? I already have them mounted in the back with the 112mm tower upgrade.

Thanks......................Roy

P.S. Just had a motor go (the shaft wobbled within the case?)and I sent it back to HPI since it was under warranty. No questions asked & in two weeks I received a new one in the box! Love my Vorza!

If its that easy to run 1 pack insted of 2.

On a side note does anyone use Venom Chargers? they have a newer Pro charger on towers on easy pay that ive been looking into.
If you want to run a single pack it's actually really easy..... Just take another dean's plug(female) or what ever plugs you are using, and soldier a wire that bridges/connects the two tabs together on that plug. If this makes any sense to you at all..... By doing this it will allow you to still have the option of using two batteries later on if you want to. Can't find mine right now but I drew a simple design of what it would look like.

About the Venom chargers.... I don't know I've never used them. I like my Hyperion duel charger, a little expensive but worth the money. Also I have a Hi-Tech quad charger too so I can charge up to 4 at a time, which for me is great because I race and don't always remember to charge my batteries before I go to a race. Also great for bashing too.

I found this page while trying to find a picture of the Dean's loop plug for bigugly78cj5's question and thought it was a great way to do the plugs and looks a lot easier and a over all better way to soldier Deans plugs. http://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/...s.asp?th=38599

Did you try seeing how fast it goes with a blackberry or radar? I'd like to know. And you left your spur as 48T?

One of the ve8 guys is using the savage outdrives to prevent the drive shafts from popping out. If it's a direct swap, it would be much cheaper than getting the wce axles...

Outer dog bone drive shafts part numbers are 86246. Really easy to find, go to HPI's website www.hpiracing.com and look up the manual for a savage and then look for the parts break down list. Probably could have saved you time by looking this up yourself. Not to be a jerk.
