HPI Vorza Flux 1/8 E-Buggy Thread
#16

It definetly looks good. I just sold a converted D8 to get the Ve8 and i am sticking with my decision. I wish i had that rear body mount on my nitro D8, I have been through 4 bodies so far from chassis flex pulling the body mount through the hole. I wonder if that front plate is alum? And I have to say that battery tray is awesome. If I didnt already have my esc motor combo I would consider it though.

I can't wait for the pull apart guys on ebay to get hold of these! Chassis and mounting parts for less than $100.00, I'll bet and POW I've me an electric D8 that the layout makes sense

I might get this buggy for bashing and maybe a little racing.
It takes 2 batteries right?
Will it accept 2s or are only 4s and 6s accepted?

Yes that pack will work fine and its cool that they have it wired for you. It looks like they made that for the Caster Fusion line but thats another thread. I have some expierence with Protec lipo's and they are awesome. They have major punch and dont get out of balance too bad either. I had 1 of their packs and a Trinity lipro 4500 2s, the protec was their 2s 4000 mah and the protec was much more punchy and would last damn near as long as the lipro which was 500 mah more. And I paid $60 for the Protec and $100 for the Trinity. Put it this way I wont buy Trinity lipo's no more. I wanted to say that I like the battery tray set up on this car also, kinda out of the box thinking. I like that, I am going Ve8 though but have to say if I didnt have a ESC-motor already I would probably get this car, I like the fr shock tower protectors to whats up with that the body mount and that front brace "is it alum?" for us Nitro D8 guys??????
