which battery should i get?

ok....so suppose you have an 8ight 2.0-e with a mmm/2650 on it.......what battery would you get for a beginner to 1/8 buggy? very short, technical track.....indoor track at CarolinasRC to be exact.
2 offers have been proposed for a zippy 30c 5000mah 4s and a losi 4s hardcase.
of the 2...which is better? I thought i read somewhere that the losi's kinda sucked...but now i can't find that anywhere.
the zippy is a 30c...not sure what the losi is...but the losi is a hardcase.
the price difference is only $20...both are SLIGHTLY used...and balanced every charge, etc...etc..etc...
if neither of these...what would be a good one to get around the $75 range?

I did about 2 months worth of research, and after talking to the early adopters in the LiPo crowd, I decided to go with...

Reedy is coming out with a 4s 5000mAh 40C li-po real soon that weighs more than 100 grams less than 2 2s TP or Reedy li-pos. I'm probably gonna go that route for a 2050kV motor.

I wouldn't put a 2650 into a beginner car - but for what it's worth, I'd go 3S1P for that motor. A 40C 3S1P would be perfect. I run a 3S1P 30C LiPo (Zippy Flightmax) that was $62 plus shipping - and will be toying around with a Turnigy 25C 3S1P this weekend to see how that does. With 3S, gearing would probably be 12T pinion for a short track and with 4S - try a 10T or 11T pinion.
You can run 4S1P or two 2S1P LiPos but watch your gearing - 2650KV can be brutally fast on 4S.

You're gonna want at least 30C for the amps and 8th scale buggy pulls. Is this the SMC li-pos you're talking about?? It's more expensive than the TPs!
but yeah...i had that c-max you posted in my sc10 when you saw it/ran it....good battery. i moved to the common sense ones now though...seem to have JUST AS much punch
