Cool I purchased this Kyosho Silicone diff Oil #30000 for my slash,but what weight is it?

I bought that from a hobby shop cause I told the hobbyshop clerk I wanted300Kwt diff fluid.
If you go to the traxxas website and find 1/10 scale slash, click that and then go to "getting your slash ready for stock spec." What he handed me was this Kyosho Silicone diff Oil #30000, but I went on line and goggled it and no where does it say that is 300kwt and to make it even more confusing kyosho makes a bottle similar to this stuff that has the number #300000 on it. So did i get it right or wrong? I dont want to put it in till I know what I bought exactly? Please help

300k = 300'000 WT
You bought a bottle of 30k WT since it's 30'000..

I've been around for almost forever and I run 50k in my slash and it's plenty thick enough. The reason they recommed 300k is the Slash diff isn't truly sealed and the thicker 300k is less likely to leak out. I don't really care. About once a month I just go in the tranny and clean what little leaks out and add some to the diff. if needed. With 50k I fill my diff., with 300k you won't need as much to get the same affect. But hay that's just me.

Thumbs up

Racer1812,
Do you recommend that I just run with the 30kwt from kyosho then. If i stay on top of it, clean it and refill and add as needed it will do the trick I need out of the turns? Also, do you think it will hold up for one race day of 3heats and 1 main with a 80 to 90 degree day?

he only has 14 posts maybe he has post envy! and a bump means if you post to the thread if its been sitting it will jump back up to the top or almost some people do it so they dont loose thier thread,or when thier on the buy and sell it will push your thread up keeps you at the top so poeple see your stuff your selling at least thats how i figured it out.
