Default 1/8 electric corr trucks

you got sc8e, I was thinking of turning my 1/8 onfa electric buggy in to a corr truck, just for something different. Are the sc8 body and sc10 the same thing?

8=1/8 scale (Big) 10=1/10 scale (Smaller)
Get the 8 body from JConcepts and have at it!

Depends on what you have in mind for your conversion.

If you are pretty much just going to run the buggy chassis (no change in length/wheelbase) then you would want to run a 1/10 short course truck body, basically anything that fits the 1/10 Slash, Slayer, or SC10.

In order for an SC8 body to fit the conversion would be more involved. The wheelbase would need to be longer so you would have to use a Truggy chassis and longer center driveshafts. I'm not certain if it is better to use buggy or truggy shock towers. From what I gather an SC8 layout is pretty much a Truggy with extended bumpers and buggy arms/CVDs.

+1. I tired it and it wasnt worth it, IMO. Just use a buggy and get a 1/10 scale body. It will be a quicker and cheaper conversion.

looks good, did you find the need to cut around the fenders a bit?

how is suspension travel, and steering? any contact points with the body?

I'd love to see it painted

That looks really good! Some one had an OFNA LX1 roller for sale and I was thinking about buying it and converting it to electric for some 4WD short course action.

Looks great. The tough part is figuring out how to fit up bumpers to protect those front and rear overhangs.
