Mine are actually all 6S. But for the track, my buddy has (and I'm not sure the brand) a real short 5S 2600 that is super small looking. I'm thinking of going to that for my buggy only. I'll leave the 6S for my truggy.

seen it, drove it, and have been counting the days til its release ever since!! It corners and flys great! I couldn't feel it being unbalanced and it was way predictable.

I'm not sure anyone knows.

There is at least a wholesale price that wholesalers can now look at, and a retail price of $295 from rcplanet.com it appears. So if they're officially taking orders as of the past day or two, I'de just throw out a month? maybe two? Dunno.

Ill take you're word on the balance but what kind of set up did it have electronics wise, 3c, 4c etc. I switched to Reedy Lipos with the intention of being able to run 2 2c packs in the future so i need 50x50x138 in the battery area

DG - I did see RB's post about his buggy. My direct experience has been different. From what I've experienced, lower kv higher setups are difficult to control due to the higher torque of lower kv motors. Perhaps because I like to go full when on straights which lifts the front more easily with lower kv.

RB - those are my direct experiences also. I drove the neu. Your experience is no more valid than another persons. Perhaps our driving styles differ enough to affect the behavior. But my direct experience is otherwise.

Dude, you are wrong. Stop the BS about the low KV/high voltage motors. People that actually RACE, not just drive a buddies, RACE these twice a week know better then you. Please lets see the math and/or source material that says a low kv/high voltage motor has more torque at a given rpm with a constant load then a high kv motor.

And any setup that lifts the front wheels on the straight is doing something wrong, 4s 5s 6s, 1/10th ,1/8th, nitro... it doesn't matter.

Rb is right. Hyperion makes great packs that are small and will work.

And the v8e for less then 300!?? I could sell my 2.0, buy one of these, make a profit, and have a brand new car.
