Default Two motors in a Rustler xl-5??

hey its me again about my rustler xl-5. I will keep it short and simple.Is there a way two put motors in my car? If so , what do I need to do so and how do you do it.

Just get a vxl system. Thats more than enough power for the rustler.

actually, it is very possible. it'll be 4wd, but you can do a dual motor rustler. Check swami rc. he did one about 5 years ago.

since then there have been several different versions other people have done.

Swami did do a 4wd Rusty, but I don't think he ever got all the bugs worked out of it. Not to the point of actually producing conversion kits, as he had hoped.

It would be possible to do a dual motor Rustler, with just 2wd, but why? The work involved in making a second motor plate or a dual motor plate would be pretty involved, but not overly complex. I think the old Rustler chassis has it's hands full with a brushless system.

2 motors would be too much weight, too much agervation, and simply put a pain in the @$$ to do. Instead of two motors why not one big motor? Like in the emaxx's and erevos...

ive been thinking about this recently. mainly about how tough it would be to install say, the mamba monster on my rustler.

MMM with a 1700kv motor and six cells would be great.Id like to hear those poor transmission gears shreak to their final death and watch the tires explode.Awsome
