There's some pics of the vents in the body and the electronics layout. Hope this helps.

Hey JAM MaxAmps,

Don't take this personally, but this could have been an opportunity to extend a little customer service in some form. Instead you are showing a case of sour grapes. I'm not saying you do not have the right to be upset about ppl trashing your product, but ya could kill the nay sayers with kindness. Possibly offer the thread starter a little help in his quest for a replacement LiPo pack. Your call.
Hey no problem here but it's tough at times to kill em' with kindness when it's the same guys over and over again saying the same old stuff. They just just don't get that we are here to stay no matter what they do or say as you can see from their very quick and sharp posts below. I don't really care what they say I just don't like to see a customer write us off like that and blame our product when it's clear that there are other issues that were more than likely the cause of the failure. Some people are just to quick to judge and then others with out looking at the whole picture try to take advantage of it and turn the whole thing into something it isn't. This thread could have been a good learning tool if people would have just tried to look at what was going on and tried to find a solution rather than to jump in and only use it as a chance to slam on us.

I am not agreeing that the pack was the only issue involved here. So I hope others dont think that the pack is the only reason this happened.

I was curious of why this COULD happen so hopefully this does not happen to others as well.

you want to know why people are out to get you?? its because you don't stand behind your product, castle, tekin,AE, etc have all had problems when they release somthing, did they blame it on user error?? no, the stood behind there products and got the bugs worked out. Not just tell them to go buy a new one.

I find it funny how everyone is so quick to blame the pack and not look at anything else they have done. But it appears you have made up your mind based on the ramblings of some that clearly just have it in for us. Go ahead and try another brand and keep running the same set-up I bet you get the same results. But hey then you can go around and call them all poor quality packs as well. One other quick note stressing an older pack like that is also going to cause problems.

Best regards,

I see more problems caused by over gearing than anything else. People shouldn't be so quick to blame the packs. I guess it's easier than accepting the fact that they caused their own problems. I see too many people out there gearing so they can have the fastest car on the straightaway. Those are the guys I see thermal or lipo cutoff during the race.

We have and always will stand behind our product. If some one has an issue we work it out to see what and where the problem is. There's no sense in just throwing them a replacement without solving the issue first. Why have them wreck another item. The main problem is people not fessing up to the fact that they did something wrong when they know they did. Those are the ones that come to forums and bash on us. It's real easy to blame someone else for your own mistakes, even easier when you do it from behind a computer screen. If someone is up front with us and says "look, I screwed up and wrecked my pack by doing this........" We will work with them. We'll show them the correct way or info they need and then once they understand we'll work out a deal on a replacement pack. Another user here already said it and I will repeat it. "You get more bees with honey."

Best regards,

Jason

If it was over geared it could be discharging the battery at to high of rate( which depends on the c rating of the battery). Basically you may be drawing more amps than your battery can handle. I would use at least a 30c rated battery. Hope this helps.
