Default One cell in my 6s pack is overcharged!

So, just through my 6s pack on the charger after it being in storage for awhile. Hasnt had any cycles on it but one and then it was stored. I just through it on the charger and after about 2500mah going in I got a warning that one cell was overcharged. All of my cells where between 4.00 and 4.04 except one that was 4.2. Is this pack going to be ok? I have it on my blinky right now but since the blinky is so small its going to take forever on this 6s 5000mah lipo.

4.2v is fine - good to know that the charger is warning of a big imbalance like that. Blinky it down to 4.0 (that'll take a while) - should be good then to restart.

4.2 is where most units try to hold cells at when charging. droppin the current to keep that voltage constant. as said above, balance and restart

ID which cell is the low one. It'll help knowing if its same cell or a diff one if prob happens again.

Need to watch this for a few cycles to see if prob was a one time deal or something more.

Likely the capacity has diminished in that cell. Cycle a few times on the charger and see if it improves. If not the battery will be problematic and a potential fire hazard. Make a 5S out of it.
